Who Does It Normally Affect?
Not normally, but Jacob's Syndrome always males. In the United States Five to Ten baby boys are born with Jacob's Syndrome in the United States everyday. Jacob's Syndrome only occurs in males, because the male is getting an extra Y chromosome. A Y chromosome in a karyotype, means that it is a male. Two X chromosomes would be a normal female.
